Inspiring Leadership Through Performing Arts Training

I help parents and studio owners use the performing arts to build more than stage skills. Through dance, music, and theater, we nurture leadership, resilience, and character—equipping children to grow into confident, capable individuals ready for life both onstage and off.

A Little Bit About Me

I’ve been in love with “dance studio life” since I was a child. That passion has grown into a lifelong journey from student to teacher to studio owner to mentor. At age 22, I opened EMC Performing Arts Studio, which is now a thriving community and reputable training center. Along the way, I’ve shared my knowledge with studio owners nationwide through DSO Connect and my podcast, In the Spotlight: Raising Leaders in the Performing Arts. I developed the Tara Gladden Scholarship Fund to help dancers chase their dance dreams, and my studio has provided a supportive community and top-notch training for thousands of performers over 3 plus decades. I am inspired every day by the power of the arts to shape young lives...and I’d love to share what I've learned with you.

Rising Leaders Program

We train high school students to become teachers in performing arts classrooms, building leadership skills that will serve them both inside and outside the studio. Parents can feel confident knowing their children are growing in self-esteem and accountability, while studio owners can bring this program into their own communities to inspire the next generation of leaders.

Tara Gladden Scholarship Fund

The Tara Gladden Scholarship Fund is an annual award that helps young dancers fund their dreams. Tara was just 15 when her life was taken, but out of this loss, we’ve found a way to honor her light.
